ASTRIAAL Split With MESTER PRODUCTIONS

Australia's ASTRIAAL have ended their association with Norway's Mester Productions. However, the long-promised 12" vinyl version of Summoning the Essence of Ancient Wisdom is still going ahead. The LP will now see the light of day courtesy of Dark Horizons in January 2003, in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.

As previously reported, ASTRIAAL entered Sunshine Studios in Brisbane on June 17th to begin recording their debut full-length effort, entitled Renascent Misanthropy. Engineered by Lachlan Mitchell (ex-NAZXUL),the follow-up to the aforementioned Summoning the Essence of Ancient Wisdom EP will contain "eight tracks of blasting misanthropik violence," according to the group's official web site.
